This Brand Policy sets out the guidelines for the use of our Nomad brand (referred to as "Nomad", "NOMAD", "we", "us", or "our") and trademark in accordance with applicable Canadian and American laws.
Our brand(s) and trademarks are valuable assets that belong to us. They are protected by Canadian and American trademark laws and must be used in accordance with this policy.
You may use our brand(s) and trademarks for the following purposes:
- To refer to our products and services in a manner that is truthful and not misleading
- To promote or advertise our products and services with our prior written consent
- To link to our website(s) in a manner that does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by us
You may not use our brand(s) and trademarks for the following purposes:
- To imply an endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation with us that does not exist
- To use our brand(s) or trademarks in a manner that is misleading, defamatory, or disparaging
- To use our brand(s) or trademarks in a manner that is likely to dilute or tarnish their distinctiveness or reputation
With permission to use our logo, product/service icons, or other trademarks, follow these guidelines:
When the logo is on a light background, text must be navy blue.
The logo has to be clearly visible against the backdrop. It must have sufficient spacing around all sides.
Avoid putting the logo over busy backgrounds. If the background is too busy, use a box behind the logo, or an overlay to increase legibility. When used with photography, logo should not cover more than 15% of the image(kept relatively small).
Under no circumstance must the logo colors be changed from the approved brand colors. The logo must not be flipped or rotated. They are not to be separated or moved.
If you wish to use our brand(s) or trademarks for any purpose not expressly permitted by this policy, you must obtain our prior written consent. To request such consent, please contact us.
We reserve the right to take legal action against any unauthorized use of our brand(s) or trademarks that violates this policy or applicable Canadian and American laws.
We may update this Brand Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in our branding or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please re-visit this Brand Policy regularly to stay informed about our guidelines for the use of our brand(s) and trademarks.
